Cookie Policy
Updated May 2026
We use strictly necessary cookies only. This page documents every cookie and localStorage key we set, what they're for, and how long they live. There are no analytics trackers, no ad networks, and no cross-site tracking. That's why we don't show a cookie-consent banner: the GDPR strictly-necessary exception doesn't require consent for what we set.
Philosophy
We use strictly necessary cookies only, anything we set either makes the site work (session storage) or saves a preference you actively chose (language, theme). No cross-site analytics tracking. No ad networks. No retargeting. No browser fingerprinting. This is also why we don't show a cookie-consent banner, the GDPR strictly necessary exception doesn't require consent for what we set. If we ever add optional analytics, a consent banner will appear with it.
What we set
amargi_lang: Language preference (en / ar). Set when you toggle language. Used server-side to render the page in your locale on first paint. Lifetime: 1 year. Scope: .amargicreative.com.
amargi_theme: Theme preference (light / dark). Same purpose as amargi_lang, saved server-side so first paint matches your choice. Lifetime: 1 year. Scope: .amargicreative.com.
amargi_workspace_access: Customer authentication token for Workspace and customer-facing products. Set after sign-in, cleared on sign-out. Lifetime: Session (until sign-out or expiry). Scope: .amargicreative.com.
amargi_control_access: Operator authentication token for the internal Amargi Control panel. Only set for staff accounts; never appears for customer accounts. Lifetime: Session. Scope: control.amargicreative.com.
amargi_refresh: Refresh token for renewing your access token without re-signing-in. HttpOnly and Secure flags set. Lifetime: Configurable per organization (default 30 days). Scope: accounts.amargicreative.com.
What we don't set
No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Mixpanel, Segment, Amplitude, etc. No ad-network trackers (DoubleClick, Adsense, Microsoft Ads, etc.). No embedded social media like buttons (which track visitors even without clicks). No browser fingerprinting or device tracking.
How to control
You can delete any cookie via your browser's settings. Deleting session cookies will sign you out of Amargi. Deleting preference cookies (amargi_lang, amargi_theme) will reset your preferences to defaults on next visit.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookies, we update the documentation above and revise the last updated date. Material changes (such as adding analytics trackers) are notified via email before they take effect.
